La Fashion Week de Séoul, 100% de digital

Dans un contexte de pandémie, la directrice de la Fashion Week de Séoul a « tenté de profiter de cette occasion unique pour mettre en œuvre des changements innovants pour {la} semaine de la mode, afin de mieux nous adapter à l’environnement digital actuel ».

Invitation à la création

Les collections de 46 créateurs ont donc été présentées par des vidéos créatives, au long des 6 jours de l’évènement. Cela leur a donc permis d’exprimer leur identité de marque en choisissant le lieu du tournage et la forme que cela allait prendre. Diffusées sur plusieurs plateformes digitales comme Youtube, Nick Knight mais également WeChat, les présentations ont comptabilisées 670 000 vues. Les utilisateurs du réseau social chinois WeChat pouvaient également acheter certaines pièces grâce au live shopping stream.

Fashion Week et digital : une alliance qui marche

L’événement a connu une portée très importante. La Fashion Week de Séoul souhaiterait allier le digital et le format plus conventionnel pour les prochains évènements.

La plateforme Twitch offre une dimension intéressante selon le directeur marketing Rod Manley. Il déclare « Twitch ouvre un nouvel espace passionnant où notre communauté Burberry peut être transportée numériquement (…) Il s’agit d’une expérience interactive où les invités peuvent se connecter à la fois à notre marque et entre eux tout en personnalisant leur expérience de visionnage ». En effet, grâce au Squad Stream, quatre angles différents étaient diffusés sur la même fenêtre. La maison Burberry montre ainsi que le mode et le digital peuvent s’associer pour offrir une expérience exceptionnelle.

Une mode réinventée

Pour cet événement, Burberry a complètement redimensionner le défilé de mode conventionnel. Tout d’abord, les mannequins apparaissent dans une forêt d’Angleterre, où ils se rejoignent autour de la chanteuse Eliza Douglas. Aussi, le directeur de création n’est jamais apparu à l’image pendant l’évènement.

L’évènement a compté près de 45 000 personnes connectées et était diffusé en parallèle sur Instagram.

Voyager pendant la pandémie, grâce à un jeu vidéo

Le dimanche 6 octobre, Balenciaga présente sa collection Fall 2021, baptisé « Afterworld: The Age of Tomorrow » avec un défilé d’un nouveau genre. La griffe a créé un jeu vidéo d’aventure, dans un univers complètement futuriste. Le but du jeu : devenir le «Maître des deux Mondes ».

Les invités de cet évènement dès plus original ont reçu avec leur invitation, un casque de réalité virtuelle.

Du lieu où ils sont confiné et grâce à leur avatar, ils sont transportés en 2030 pour parcourir la collection et découvrir les silhouettes aux accents rétrofuturistes.

Chacun des looks de la collection est mis en scène grâce à la technique de la photogrammétrie, qui permet de construire des modèles en 3D à partir d’une simple photo.

À travers leur casque de VR, tous les invités avaient l’impression d’être positionnés sur le prestigieux « front row », le premier rang, qui est habituellement réservé au invité VIP, comme Ana Wintour.
