Fin 2020, le cabinet Gartner présentait ses « Top Strategic Technology Trends for 2021 ». Parmi ces tendances, on retrouve le maillage de cybersécurité, l’ingénierie de l’IA ou encore l’hyperautomation… Seulement, l’une d’entre elles à attirer mon attention : l’Internet des Comportements.

Bientôt, l’Internet des Comportements sera répandu. D’ici 2023, environ 40 % de la population mondiale sera suivie numériquement afin d’influencer notre comportement. Cela représente plus de 3 milliards de personne. L’Internet des Comportement remettra en question « ce que signifie être humain dans le monde numérique ».

Alors, l’Internet des Comportements, c’est quoi ?

L’IoB ou Internet des comportements est un concept nouveau qui a pour objectif de comprendre les données recueillies sur la navigation en ligne des internautes dans une perspective de psychologie comportementale.

L’IoB permettrait aux entreprises de créer et commercialiser de nouveaux produits, dans une perspective de psychologie humaine, grâce à la compréhension et à la bonne utilisation des données.

Mais à quoi serviront ces données recueillies ?

La compréhension et l’analyse de ces données permettra d’élaborer de nouvelles approches pour concevoir :

Expérience utilisateur
L’optimisation de l’expérience de recherche
les produits / services finaux offerts par les entreprises
la manière de les commercialiser.

Internet des Comportements : vie privée et sécurité

Les conséquences sur la sécurité et la vie privée sont complexes, et la sécurité des données est une préoccupation croissante.

Le respect de la vie privée des personnes est essentiel. C’est pourquoi la manipulation des données personnelles doit se faire de manière totalement transparente.

Lorsque des conclusions sont tirées sur le comportement d’un internaute, celles-ci peuvent être très puissantes, permettant aux experts de la science du comportement de manipuler efficacement le comportement des humains.

Cela peut être bénéfique, puisque ces données peuvent permettre d’améliorer des produits et services et donc de mieux répondre aux besoins de la population. Néanmoins, si toutes ces informations tombent entre de mauvaises mains, comme des cybercriminels, les résultats peuvent devenir très dommageables.

Ainsi, un système de cybersécurité solide est de rigueur pour une entreprise qui souhaiterait développer une stratégie autour de l’Internet des Comportements.
