La Libra, cryptomonnaie dite « de Facebook », est un des projets actuels qui agitent le plus la toile. Le 18 juin 2019, Facebook présentait la toute nouvelle association Libra, basée à Genève – et en même temps, son projet de lancer la première devise numérique mondiale sous forme de stablecoin. Fondée par David Marcus et Mark Zuckerberg, cette initiative a selon eux pour but de démocratiser l’accès aux services financiers de base.
