Les hommes ont toujours rêvé d’améliorer leurs conditions de vie. Que ce soit les premiers hommes avec des outils pour manger ou se défendre, ou l’homme contemporain avec les smartphones par exemple, qui leur permettent d’avoir toutes les informations à porté de main. Mais l’on remarque aussi que leurs capacités ne leur semblent jamais suffisante, ils rêvent de se surpasser comme on peut le voir avec le dopage dans le milieu sportif. Le but est d’être le meilleur, le plus productif ou bien encore le plus fort. Le transhumanisme laisse entrevoir cette possibilité : intégrer la technologie à notre corps pour faire de nous une sorte de « surhomme ». Mais qu’en est-il de l’humanité et la collectivité ?
