Peux-tu te présenter et présenter ton parcours académique ?

Hello, moi c’est Guillaume, j’ai 23 ans et puisque je suis ici à te répondre c’est que j’ai intégré le MBA DMB cette année ! Que dire de plus si ce n’est que je suis passionné par le monde du divertissement et des Parcs à Thèmes et que cela occupe une très grande partie de mon temps.

Alors mon parcours académique est quelque peu singulier… Après avoir obtenu le BAC S avec la mention Très Bien, je me suis dirigé vers la santé en passant le fameux concours PACES. J’avais plus jeune, réalisé un stage dans une pharmacie et j’aimais beaucoup l’aspect commerce et business qui était associé à ce métier « scientifique ».

N’ayant pas redoublé, j’ai de suite intégré la Faculté de Pharmacie de Lille et j’ai pu commencer à me former en parallèle tous les week-ends en officine. Bien que ce fût une belle expérience, je me suis vite rendu compte que la routine pouvait s’installer rapidement et qu’il n’y avait pas de perspectives d’évolution en travaillant en officine. Durant ma 3ème année, j’ai donc suivi en complément de ma formation un Master Biologie Santé centré sur la Recherche. Enrichissant mais un milieu qui demandait beaucoup trop de patience à mon goût.

C’est pourquoi lors du choix de ma filière en 4ème année, j’ai décidé de m’orienter vers l’Industrie afin de déboucher sur des métiers tournés vers le Marketing et la Communication. Il faut dire qu’en parallèle de mes études, j’ai peu à peu pris goût à cet univers notamment via le digital et les réseaux sociaux que j’ai pu animer. Après un stage de 6 mois sur Paris dans le Marketing International, me voici de retour à Lille pour le MBA DMB !

Comment as-tu connu le MBA DMB ? Qu’est-ce qui t’as amené à l’intégrer ?

Et bien, cela s’est fait un peu par hasard ! Mais y a-t-il vraiment du hasard dans la vie ? C’était durant ma 5ème année, je commençais à me questionner sur quel Master suivre pour terminer mes études et je suis tombé sur une affiche de l’EFAP pour ses futures portes ouvertes à mon arrêt de métro. J’ai donc décidé d’y faire un saut le Jour J et j’ai eu le déclic.

J’avais envie de me professionnaliser dans les activités Social Media que j’exerçais en dehors, le MBA DMB était donc le choix le plus naturel au regard de ce qui y était proposé.

Certes, le master ne proposait rien de scientifique mais j’avais justement besoin de m’en libérer pour laisser parler ma créativité que je n’avais que peu mise à profit dans mes études ces dernières années.

J’ai donc passé un entretien téléphonique avec Arnault Chatel afin de m’assurer que j’avais ma place dans cette formation. La réponse, nous la connaissons tous aujourd’hui et j’ai donc réussi avec succès mon second entretien avec Sophie Guignier.

Ce MBA était pour moi l’occasion de m’ouvrir de nouvelles portes et je suis plus qu’heureux de pouvoir affirmer que ce fût bel et bien le cas.

Peux-tu nous en dire plus sur tes activités à côté du MBA ?

En dehors du MBA, je suis actif sur les réseaux sociaux via plusieurs canaux.

J’ai créé en 2019 Disney+ News, un média présent sur Twitter, Facebook et Instagram en anglais et français dédié intégralement à la plateforme de streaming Disney. Je suis plus que satisfait du succès qu’il connaît avec notamment 11K abonnés sur le Twitter anglais, ce qui était un réel défi pour moi que d’essayer de percer aux Etats-Unis.

Sinon je rédige également de temps à autre pour le site web Dimension Parcs qui réunit une petite équipe de passionnés de Parcs à Thèmes et qui a su se faire une place dans cet écosystème de fans. La page Facebook réunit 8000 fans et nous sommes conviés par les Parcs pour tester les dernières nouveautés mais ce dont je suis plus le fier sur ce site, c’est qu’on mise davantage sur la qualité des articles que sur la quantité. C’est une belle aventure là aussi que je suis heureux de partager !

Sinon, mon temps libre se résume à Cinéma et Parcs. Je lis beaucoup également, principalement des ouvrages anglais qui touchent aux making-of des films et attractions.

Et sur tes ambitions professionnelles après le MBA ?

Je n’ai pas de chemin tout tracé en tête, j’espère juste avoir l’opportunité de partager ma passion à plus grande échelle. Et ainsi mettre à contribution mes compétences et tout ce que j’ai pu apprendre en la matière. Mais si je devais parler sur le long terme, la Californie me fait forte impression et je ne dirais pas non à une opportunité professionnelle dans la région…

Pour les Démineurs, je veux simplement dire Merci. C’est peu original et très lambda mais ce simple mot suffit à exprimer toute ma reconnaissance, mon amitié et ma bienveillance à votre égard.
