Crise sanitaire oblige, le spectateur doit vivre la danse depuis son mobile ou sa tablette. Avec tout de même la consolation d’admirer la rediffusion des plus belles créations des compagnies de danse. En outre, grâce au jeu de la caméra, chacun peut zoomer sur un pas de deux, survoler la scène et découvrir les secrets des coulisses. Autant d’émotions inédites qui renouvellent le regard. Depuis quelques semaines, les spectacles en ligne redeviennent payants, il en va de la survie des institutions culturelles. Cependant, la plateforme VOD d’Arte, ou celle de la 3ième scène de l’Opéra de Paris, continuent de proposer gratuitement, en replay, les captations de magnifiques ballets.

Quand le digital se met au service de la danse, c’est également pour nous permettre de rejoindre des communautés de danseurs et de chorégraphes. Par exemple, suivre pas à pas une compagnie sur son website, citons la très créative, L.A. Aimer la danse, c’est l’éprouver. Ainsi, le digital propose des apprentissages en ligne sous des formes très variées. Depuis les cours de danse contemporaine de la youtubeuse Marie Bugnon, en passant par le website de masterclass initié par Dorothée Gilbert jusqu’aux instant tutos sur Facebook des break danceurs, The Ruggeds. Et puis l’accompagnement des professionnels dans la formation n’est pas oubliée, par exemple avec des outils comme la plateforme de streaming de musique, IDance, créée par Laurent Choukroun.
