Bonjour Edouard, tu es co-fondateur de allovoisins, peux-tu nous expliquer ce que c’est ?

Allovoisins est une marketplace de prestation de services et de location de matériel, géolocalisée. Nous recréons du lien social et facilitons les échanges de proximité à l’échelle des quartiers et même des villes, en mettant en relations les voisins, qu’ils soient des particuliers ou des professionnels.

Nous sommes un modèle de demande contrairement au Bon Coin qui est un modèle d’offre. C’est-à-dire que, chez allovoisins ce sont les gens qui ont un besoin qui mettent en ligne une annonce.

Nous sommes aussi généraliste avec 120 catégories d’objets et services répertoriés.

Allovoisins est le premier réseau social dédié à la consommation collaborative. On est leader des services de mise en relation entre particuliers avec 3,7 millions d’utilisateurs, de tous les âges, présents sur l’ensemble du territoire français, en ligne et via l’app.

Comment t’est venue l’idée de ce réseau social?

C’était en 2007, j’habitais déjà Nantes, j’étais dans ma voiture et j’écoutais sur France Info l’interview d’une jeune femme qui venait de créer la plateforme Zilok (plateforme de location pour tout le monde). Et là, je me dis, « c’est une idée géniale, qui a du sens ! ». Mais je me dis aussi « ça ne marchera jamais ». Ça ne marchera pas, parce que c’est un modèle d’offre, d’annonces de personnes qui proposent leurs affaires à la location. D’abord, ce n’est pas possible de mettre une annonce pour tout ce que j’ai chez moi, ensuite, tes annonces se retrouvent rapidement en page 2, 3… tu deviens vite froid ! Et dans un an, si quelqu’un me contacte pour me louer ma tondeuse, et bien, j’aurai oublié mon annonce, voire je n’aurai plus ma tondeuse…

Donc j’avais trouvé l’idée top mais pas l’exécution. J’étais persuadé qu’il fallait passer par la demande, surtout pour les services à la personne. Et puis à force de me dire qu’il fallait le faire, je me suis lancé !

C’était en 2013, avec mes deux associés : Charles Cabillic et Ronal Le Moal.

Quel est votre modèle économique ?

On fonctionne à l’abonnement.

L’inscription est gratuite, donne la possibilité d’enregistrer un nombre illimité de demandes, et de répondre à 4 demandes de services par mois. Au-delà, il faut souscrire à un abonnement.

Les professionnels, eux, doivent souscrire l’abonnement dès l’inscription.

Nous avons une belle communauté, que nous animons au quotidien, et de belles histoires de voisins (allez voir le blog des histoires d’allovoisins, c’est révélateur de la bienveillance ambiante : https://blog.allovoisins.com/). D’ailleurs elle s’enrichit de presque 3 000 nouveaux inscrits par jour en temps normal !

Qu’est-ce que la crise sanitaire actuelle a changé ?

J’ai l’habitude de dire que les crises sont des révélateurs, qu’elles accentuent les phénomènes en cours.

L’impact de la crise pour allovoisins est paradoxal. Comme nous avons une activité de mise en relation et que les gens se sont confinés, qu’ils avaient peur et qu’ils ont réduit leurs interactions sociales, on a clairement vu une basse d’activité. D’autre part, notre chiffre d’affaire n’a pas été trop impacté puisque nous fonctionnons grâce aux abonnements.

Quelles sont les perspectives pour allovoisins ?

Notre objectif est de nous imposer définitivement comme la marketplace de référence pour tous les besoins, qu’il s’agisse de besoins quotidiens comme de projets plus larges. Le contexte actuel est illisible, on manque de visibilité donc il faut jongler, rester focus sur notre feuille de route et changer de cap en fonction des annonces gouvernementales.

Cela dit, je suis confiant pour l’avenir ; nous vivons une mutation sociétale avec une forte appétence pour les nouveaux modes de consommation… et c’est le crédo d’allovoisins !
